When I came out of the shower she was sitting next to the
bed with my sports bra and panties around her neck!!!
My kingdom for a
camera!!!!
How she got them is a mystery. They were on the bed with
the yoga pants and jacket I wore when I took her out. She must have
pulled the pant leg and they fell right on her. Too funny.
One
more question... does she usually poop right after her meal? I just need
to know how to adjust MY schedule.
Thank you for her.

OK, Jo Ann is getting better trained every day!!!
Yesterday I took her out and she peed. I didn't stay out long because I thought
shed pop after eating. Oh well. She pooped in the hall, delivered it to me in
the bathroom and before I could grab some toilet tissue she ate half of it!!!!!!
Another first for me!!
She was good good going potty at my breaks but we
had a rough night. The dogs next door are out on their deck at night and they
scare the hell out of her and she would not potty at 10:30. She carried on for
a while and she finally went to sleep.
Better luck so far this morning.
Took her out first thing and she peed and pooped. I fed her dry only and took
her out again. Then I gave her some chicken and she scarfed it down. I think
I'll continue to feed separately so the waste is minimal. What do you think?
I am also learning not to put anything on the floor. She has fallen in live
with an old slipper of mine. She buried her little face in the closed part. I
will try to get some pix of this as it is adorable.
I think she is really
adjusting beautifully. She is so mellow with others. She interacted with a 7
month old Shi Tzu yesterday who must have been on crack. What a difference.
She was great. She seems to do better with a controlled face to face. She will
run away if the other dog is aggressive at all.
She refused to get off
the bed this morning. All she wanted was to have me scratch her belly. She lay
on her back and held my arm with her little paws. Do you think I was loving it
!!!
Thank again

Took her to the vet today and she was wonderful. So shaking or
squirming even when they did the shot and the chip. She is scheduled for
surgery on the 6th. They recommended no grooming for10 days, so we need to
reschedule. Let me know what will work for you and I will adjust my work days
to make it work.
Potty update: better. Jo Ann is getting more in tune
with her pre potty movements. ( no pun intended!!) I guess I was under the
impression that if she was holding for 4 hours in her crate she would do the
same out of it. What was I thinking... Anyway, I am getting better as is she.
I am taking her out much more frequently. This last time she didn't want to
come back is. I let her go where she wanted and sure enough she pooped. So
we're two for two today in that department.
This may sound crazy but I
was in the kitchen for quite a while this afternoon. She put herself in the
crate. After a while she barked, came out went back in and barked again. I
immediately took her out and she peed. She did this once before and I ignored
it and she went on the carpet. Maybe she's trying to tell her dumb owner to get
with the program!! Funny.
She had a bit of a problem with the thunder
last night. She barked but I held her and stroked her and she stopped. She
wasn't freaking out, just a little bark.
I bought a gallon of pet stain
cleaner and now have one on every floor, just in case.
You certainly were
correct about her personality. She is fun and funny but also very laid back.
If this continues, she will be the perfect friend. She hustles up and down the
stairs with ease. That didn't take very long. She also is getting more
accurate in identifying our front entry. Difficult for me sometimes!!!!! She's
a smart little thing.
She's not eating the dry very well. I put it in
front of the crate and she ate a bit more. I feed her the raw from a shrimp
fork!!! She gobbles that right down. I am doing this both morning and night as
the volume is not great. Hope this is o.k.
Let me know about the change
of date for her grooming.
Thanks for listening.

We are doing a little better. I seem to not be able to figure
her time frame out of the crate. I seem to take her out when she doesn't have
to go and then waiting too long at other times. Oh well.
I went to a
wedding last night and she was in the crate for 5 hours with no accident.
She now has her official name!!! Miss margaRitaPizza. What do you think?
She has her surgery tomorrow. Hopefully all will go perfectly.
How
do you feel about brushing her teeth? I don't want to have the severe problems
I had with Angel. Does the finger brush work? She is good about letting me out
my fingers in her mouth.
Hope you had a great Fourth.
