Julie,  Tequila is doing great!!  She and Sandy have gotten along pretty well - even going out the dog door together and doing their business at the same time and coming back in thru the dog door - as I hold it open for her.  Sandy goes in and out the dog door by herself.  If Sandy gets too close, Tequila has growled a little, but I've told her NO and Sandy leaves her alone.  She sat on my lap most of the afternoon and licked my arms and legs a lot. She ate well and has seemed like she's getting used to her new home.  She has played with some squeak toys a little and chased her tail, too.  She is so very pretty and lovable - real cuddly.  I love her so much already - thank you for such a darling, sweet dog.

Just want to let you know that Tequila is doing great!!  She has gone  a whole week without peeing or pooping in the house.  I ask if she wants to go out and every time she goes out, tho doesn't always go to the bathroom - usually she does.  She is so sweet and sits on  my lap a lot.  At night, she sleeps in the bedroom in her crate (Sandy sleeps on the bed.)  Whenever I leave, I put her in her crate and any time she has been in her crate, when I let her out I always have her go outside.  She and Sandy get along fine - she licks Sandy's back sometimes and has occasionally tried to hump her.  Horny little girl!!  Last week, she threw up a few times - I didn't feed her for 12 or so hours and then she"d be ok - I wonder if she threw up with you?

 

The vet thought she was in good health, but he did express her anal glands and gave her a Rabies shot and I had her microchipped with the Home Again chip.  He wants to see her in a few days to see how her incision in doing - it was a little red when he saw her last week.  Everybody thinks she is just adorable - and she is!!

 

I'm curious as to how many puppies she has had and when.  I can imagine several little Tequilas running around.  I love her to pieces and am so glad she's mine.  And Sandy has acted a lot younger and more energetic since she's been around, too.

 

Thanks again for trusting me to have such a sweet little dog.  She does chase her tail sometimes, too.  Cute!!
