Hi, Debby -

We both survived the trip back home.  Guess that's how it feels to be a jetsetter (minus the puke & poop).  All in all, i just laugh about it.  The little guy is doing really well.  I think his call name is going to be "Willis" as he really seems to respond to it.  I've just sent the akc papers in and i did give him the name FFT Bruce is Danc'n inthe Dark.  He's made himself right at home and has adapted pretty well.  Of course, he is sleeping in the bed and now makes it to 6am.  Today, i had to wake him up.  His training is progressing, he does make it to the paper most of the time.  We've just been hit with a terrible ice storm and while we don't have a large accumulation, it is horrible.  This was the first time i was not able to do my driveway, its like a tundra.   Back to Willis, i have taken a bunch of pictures, i promise to figure out the printer and how to put them on my computer this weekend.  i just got the camera at xmas.  Hope all is well with you and your new puppies, too.  Good luck at the show this weekend.  I expect to hear about some new Champs!.

Hi, Ginny, Hi Debby --
Hope you had a successful weekend at the show -- How did The Moon do? Does Bruce have another star aunt?  I was finally able to load this software and transfer some of the photos.  (photograpy is not one of my strong points!).  Attached are a few of the better photos, hope you enjoy them. Ginny, as you can tell by bruce willis' favorite toy, i think he misses his mommy.  (for a tough boy, he can sometimes be a little woosey.  it is so funny.  1 of my friends gave him a squeek toy hotdog, and he was afraid of it from day 1. too funny.  I also attempted to visit a friend with him yesterday and we had a repeat performance of our first trip.  I think i will be retiring the sherpa bag, he doesn't like it at all.  ended up cancelling the dinner plan and brought him home for a bath.)  I had him out in they yard for a little bit and his is truly a Mountain Boy!, he likes climbing on the little snow piles.  Other than that, he is adjusting very well, is now sleeping to 7 and is enjoying all the love and attention.  will speak to you soon. let me know how the show went.   bye for now, rose

Hi, Debby -
I did speak with Ginny last week and she filled me on the show and everything out there.  Hope her girls are feeling better.  Can't believe how time flies, tomorrow will be a month since i picked up Willis.  I've been taking him in the car for really short rides, just about around the block to my neighbors house and this week into town to visit the bank.  the atm had no supplies, so i brought him in with me.  he managed in the car okay; but i'm not putting him in the carrier. so far so good.... The little girl in the picture is my neighbor Aurora.  (love the name and know you have a nearby city of the same name!).  I don't have any kids of my own, which is why i probably get so attached to my lhasas!.  Aurora comes over a few days after school to play w/Willis and now to take him out to do some of his business.  he is progressing, prefers going out vs in.  He is such a smarty and so, so clean!!  Aurora's family have 2 dachsunds so Willis met them in their yard on Sat for the first time.  it was so cute to watch; he is a little bit bigger and took over leading them around their yard.  So it's perfect, Willis gets a little socialization with other doggies and Aurora and family are helping me out with "people" friends.  My neighbors are so impressed with Willis behaviour and how smart he is.  I told them, its the Breed! that's why I love them so much.  (Those little dachsunds, while cute, can be very hyper and are always looking to get out. sporting/hunting dogs..my neighbors said wish they knew that ahead of time.  Too bad they have the 2 dogs, plus 3 cats, so i couldn't convince them to take Peanuts!)
Anyways, hope our new little Gompa pup is doing well and amusing you with those Lhasa antics.  Will send some new pics soon.  Thanks again for all your help (and for Ginny) and for bringing Willis into my life!!

Ginny --
Found a few minutes to transfer these pictures.  what a day we had, finally!  As you will see, i can't wait to get the dippitydoo so we can see Willis's eyes too.  He loved his bath today and is strutting his stuff; he must have a little 70's stuff running through his hair genes.  he's got the beatnick look. it just falls flat over his eyes.  don't forget to call me me next week when you have some time to pass in the car.  good luck!
Hi, Debby --
Just sent these over to Ginny and also thought you would love to see how Willis has grown.  He is now 12 lbs, 3 oz and has such a wonderful personality and lots of stories.  Ginny can fill you in next week at the show when you girls have some "chit chat" time.  Ginny has given me some secrets on how to control his hair for his photo shoots so you can at least see his eyes.  while some of the pictures are not that great, i thought you would want to see his color and markings.....and those things you pros look at.  hope you are well; have heard how busy you've been.  talk to you soon.

Hi, Debby --
Its been a while, thought i'd send you a few recent picures of Willis.  Just can't believe he just turned 6 months old.  He is a wonderful litle boy and such a cutie.  I really haven't wanted to trim his coat at all and after talking to Ginny yesterday, picked up some of those little rubberbands and took the hair off his face so we could all see his eyes!  Here he is.  Just to keep you up to date, he is doing well, weighed in at 13.6 about 2 weeks ago.  He is scheduled for snip job on tuesday, june 5th. (only 1 has dropped, my vet is confident everything will be fine.)  Hope all is well with you and all your doggies.  talk to you soon.

Along with the following note:

Hi Ginny & Debby -

Finally, Willis is looking better from the awful haircut from July.  Here he is in my yard, enjoying the first day of fall and, I must say, looks great with the green background!  Ginny, i was even able to give him a little, little pony tail again!  As i mentioned, he is starting to lose the puppy coat so he is getting lots of grooming attention. Can't believe he is already 10 months! Love him, he is so special!  talk to you soon!  Rose

Hi, Debby --
Hope you had a very merry christmas!  and tht Santa brought you something special.  Rest up, the next holiday will be here in no time.  Willis just loved xmas; had lots of fun with the little shopping bags & tearing up the tissue paper!   Everyone just loves him. He has such a sweet, loving disposition.  What a charmer.

I saw your recent posting on the Whats New List and saw the little girl pup, Ella playing in the snow.  She looks so much like Willis, except he has the white chest.  She even has the same red highlights on her ears.  She is precious.  They all are.

Oh well, merry christmas, happy new year to you and your family.  talk to you soon.  Rose
