Max is great. He has finally settled in and is
enjoying himself tremendously. I am working on putting some more photo's
together to send out to people, so as soon as that's complete, I'll let you
know.
We tentatively had his booster set of the 15th, but
you mentioned that your going to be in the office on the 8th. Can we do it
that early or does it not matter? Because if that's the case then I think I
could come up on the 8th and let him get his shot. Also, I still didn't get
his shot record. If I could get that as well, just in case something happens
and I need to take him to the vet. Let me know if the 8th works for you.

Hello everyone~
First off, I wanted to say "Hi" to everyone and let you know, for those whose
don't already, that I recently had a stroke. I was fortunate enough to not
have any major problems from it and am now back home after spending a few days
in the hospital. I want to thank all of you for you support and gifts. At
this point, I seem to be doing better. I'm on blood thinners and look like I
have been beaten with a bat because of all the bruising. Not to mention that
I look like a junkie as well from the needle sticks while in the hospital.
I still have a few follow up appointments in the coming weeks because in the
process of finding the source of the stroke, they found a hole in my heart. I
will be talking to the doctors to get this repaired, which will mean that I
will be going back to the hospital. Right now there is no information as to
what may have caused the stroke, and they may never find out. Of course, I
hope for the other.
Just so, I'm not flooded with phone calls, it would be best if you could just
e-mail me at this time. I'm still trying to get sleep and regain my
strength. It seems to come and go in different spurts and I'm using that
energy to move around to get my coordination back.
Thanks again for everything and I will keep you all informed as I find things
out.
Mike!!
Thanks for the info. I will wait then before
getting him is shot. As far as his coat is concerned, I wasn't going to let
it get too long, but I would consider letting you show him. I would have a
few questions though, like obedience training and etc.. Go ahead and send
me what you have. I have a question and that is, I heard from some other
people who have Lhasa's and they told me that they live longer after being
neutered. Is that true?
As for my health, well I am doing great. I am
back at work and off the medication they had me on. Aspirin has now become
my new best friend. No worries though, just as long as it doesn't take me
away from doing what I love (Law Enforcement and the Gym).
Well, I hope all is well with you and that you
didn't get too much snow with this last storm.
Oh, before I forget. I don't mean to be crude or
anything, but Max, every once in a while secretes some sort of clear fluid
from his anus that smells so bad. I was wondering if you have heard of this
and knew what it was before I took him to the vet. If you do know, is there
a remedy or cure for this?
Mike!!
Max is doing great. He just recently got
all of his shots and is good to go. I have to take him back in the next two
weeks for his booster shots and then we will be done for a while. His hair
was really long and I was managing it for the most part until he started
matting up. I wasn't able to get them out, so I took him to the groomers and
they butchered his hair. Talk about being pissed off. That's the last time
he goes there. Now its about two inches long and a mess. Honestly I don't
want people to see him with his hair that way, but have been anyway. Other
than that things are going real well. He doesn't like other dogs I've found.
He initially gets close to smell them and then just goes off barking up a
storm. He weights 11.5 lbs and thinks he's 80lbs. All I can do is just sit
back and laugh because most of the time he acts that way is around big dogs.
My little protector. I love it. Anyways, it would be nice if you stopped by
and saw Max and Thursday morning works great for me. Just give me a call when
your close. So, I will see you later.
Mike
