Today my little Peanut went to his new home. I called an old friend (per Richie's thought on Friday night) and asked her (Shelley )what she thought about giving a home to Peanut. They thought about it overnight and called this morning and said they come down from Longmont to see him. Scott and Shelley arrived about noon and fell in love with him. I've known Shelley since 1980 and she's such a great gal, with a warm heart. She's had dogs all that time and currently has one large dog (part Great Pyrenees and part Shepard) as her other dogs are gone due to old age. Scott works nights and Shelley PT days.......Peanut will almost always have someone around, which is what he's been used to here. GOOD !! When they got him home their big dog (Samantha ie: Sam) was so intimidated by Peanut, she stays all the way across the room from him. How funny is that? They found it quite comical and thought...hum....he's like a Goliath....so, they are calling Peanut, Goliath. He in one day, went from "runt" to BIG BOY !! She also wants to register him and put a time and dance name on the papers....she so sweet ! Not long after they were home she rang me to tell of the drive home and thank me for a towel I sent because he threw up in the car just like Cayenne did when I came down the mountain from your house......but he's fine now. Shelley cried and is so pleased to have him !! This is all good news !!
