Hi Julie,

 

Damon and I just wanted to let you know that he is doing great.  We really love him and he is so affectionate and is very good.  He and the three year old terrier keep us laughing all of the time.  They play and chase each other and while

cowboy is bigger and faster, Damon can outsmart him.  We had one short period a few months ago when Damon decided he was going to mark his favorite spots in the house, but a few spankings and getting locked outside, he decided to quite. He is very smart and does not like getting into trouble.  Damon always has a toy in his mouth and is the first one to the door to greet visitors.  He is also protective of us.  One night two men he didn't know came in late and he barked and growled until we told him it was alright.
